Ernesto Carlos was born and raised in Angra dos Reis – RJ, Brasil. He plays guitar and produces music since 2002. His style varies from indie to synthwave and finds influence from MPB and rock and roll. Since 2014 he lives in The Hague, The Netherlands and started recording occasionally together with Alina Valentina.
His music is very autobiographic, telling the story of his life in Brazil in contrast to living in a First world country. Besides that he talks about the more absurd things of daily life. Ernesto Carlos makes music to deal with his saudade and brings some summer vibes into this wet and cold country.
Alina Valentina produced his debut album ‘Jorge’ which was released in March 2021 digitally and on vinyl. His second album is on it’s way!
